this poem was written because my dog is going to the vet for the last time. We are cremating her and since I love her very much I'd like to put her age and death... I dont know her birth day but this is remeberance of Twigs Ott.
Age- 14 December 14, 1995 - April 2, 2010
she will always live in our hearts.
Written By: Alex Pacifico.
The moon was a spotlight
the grass a blanket
to keep the warm, hidden,
from the sorrows and pain
of the world.
Those who are gone,
I envy, because they
have entire peace,
nothing to worry.
They stay,
hidden in their eternal
beds, resting,
oblivious to the pains
and sorrows of
this temporary hell.
They're souls have
passed on,
but their bodies stay.
Stay hidden
beneath the
blanket of grass, the moon serving as
a spotlight,
to exhibit
their peace fullness
to the rest of the
living world.
